The National Diversity Council will host the 2019 Diversity and Leadership Conference on April 8-12, 2019 in Dallas, TX with the conference theme Inclusion: The Time is Now.
The conference will feature big-name keynote speakers such as President Barack Obama and General Colin Powell. There will be over sixty industry experts offering insight on the importance of diversity & inclusion in the workplace.

Is there a person on your team or in your office you want to avoid because of the rude way they communicate? Perhaps they have irritating habits - such as chewing gum in a way that makes irritating noises - which prevents you from being able to concentrate on completing your work assignment. Even if you wanted to tell the person about their unconsciously rude behavior, but didn't know how to approach them because they don't appear to be approachable. What do you do? Especially if that person is the boss!
If you have experienced challenges in workplace communications, or want to get ahead of the game and learn strategies so you will be prepared if it happens in the future, or you know a person who currently works in the type of environment described make sure to register for this class.
In this workshop, you will learn strategies on how to have conversations that may make you uncomfortable, but need to take place in order to increase your ability to be productive on the job - with less stress.
Make sure to tell your co-workers about this class, and encourage them to attend too - especially the person who is causing you to take longer to do your job because of their annoying habits.
