About The "Not Just" Unconscious Bias Trainer

As CEO of Austin, TX based BOAZ Enterprises, LaTonya J. Pegues  brings a wealth of experience to BOAZ Enterprises clientele. After working in the aerospace  industry in a variety of positions; including satellite and missions engineer, low temperature physics researcher, and communications and PR expert, she founded  BOAZ Enterprises a training, consulting,  communications and marketing firm.  Under her leadership, BOAZ Enterprises has provided services for clients in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Caribbean, and throughout North America.      

 LaTonya is an advisor for the  previous NASA administrator, astronaut, and retired Major General Charles F. Bolden Group, LLC which  is a consortium of accomplished leaders and problem solvers with extensive experience leading complex organizations in challenging environments.

She is the first space workforce development editor of Interstellar Magazine.  This publications  mission is to showcase the emerging wave of commercial space entrepreneurs, their innovative solutions, and the high-impact space technologies with the potential to benefit Earth.

LaTonya is also a member of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), and is on their  Metaverse Working Group, Small Business Council, Content & Entertainment Council, and  Blindspots Working Groups.   CTA is the organization that produces the Consumer Electronics Show every year in Las Vegas, NV.

She is a multi-award winner, and is known as, "The Unconscious Bias Trainer," LaTonya was a 2018 South by Southwest (SXSW) keynote speaker on Unconscious Bias.  

LaTonya is a 2022 Kindle Award honoree where she was acknowledged for her service to underserved communities and raising awareness of issues that have been overlooked that are in need of repair.

In addition, she was an Unconscious Bias panelist during the National Diversity Council's conference where President Barack Obama, and General Colin Powell gave keynote addresses. And she shared at an NFBPA conference where Dr. Anthony Fauci was also a speaker.

LaTonya is an internationally sought after keynote speaker, panelist, and conference trainer.

She has been a featured speaker at the world famous Exploratorium museum in San Francisco, CA, the Austin AI Alliance Summer intensive training,  and the annual Minority Policy Summit held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC,  in addition to  many other speaking engagements.

She has been an on-air radio personality with the legendary Reginald Utley in Los Angeles, CA where she co-hosted a daily radio show.   LaTonya  has been heard  over the air waves in  Austin, TX serving in the news department in that market, as well as providing  entertainment reporting on international radio stations.   

Her hobbies include, photography, international travel, water sports,  singing with musicians, and listening to live music.
